Moving the System Directory Above Webroot

In this video, we will walk through a simple security step to make your site more secure, but moving the system folder outside of the webroot of ExpressionEngine.

What We Do

• Change our EE Structure to move the public files to a public folder
• Change our EE index.php and admin.php files to look at the changed structure
• Fix our upload directories
