Write for Us
We are looking for authors!
Our goal is to make EEU is the best resource in the world for ExpressionEngine users, and more broadly, for people that work on the web.
Are you a seasoned ExpressionEngine user or web professional? We would love for you to share your knowledge or your experience on a recent project.
We view this relationship as a two way street: You help us develop high quality content, and we will reward you with a prominent byline with your photo and bio, so that thousands of readers can get to know you and your work.
By helping us, you get recognition as a leader in the ExpressionEngine community.
What types of articles do we publish?
Our audience is comprised of ExpressionEngine users and web professionals. Broadly speaking, we are looking for content that is relevant to people that work on the web, and especially those that work with ExpressionEngine. For example:
- ExpressionEngine tutorials
- ExpressionEngine tips and tricks
- How-to articles
- Add-on usage articles
- Tutorials on more general topics related to the web
- Case studies
- Video tutorials or screencasts
- Anything that might be valuable to the web development community
What is the process like?
Our goal is to make it as easy for authors to create content as possible. If you have never published for us before, the first step is to submit the form below with an article proposal or draft, and to introduce yourself to our team. If you have samples of your writing we’d love to see those too.
Once you are accepted as an EEU author you will have access to your own article managment portal where you can submit articles, view articles in progress, and manage previously written articles. Articles will be reviewed by a member of the ExpressionEngine University team who will also help polish the article for publication.
Articles must be written in Markdown.
That’s it!
